Title:
Exoplanet Detection with the FOCES spectrograph
Abstract:
We present the FOCES spectrograph and its results from the first two observing programs. FOCES is a fiber-fed, optical, high-resolution (R 60,000) Echelle spectrograph that is installed at the 2.1m telescope on the Wendelstein Observatory in the German Alps. The main goal is to perform precise mass measurements of new exoplanet candidates. To achieve the target stability of ~1 m/s the spectrograph is placed inside a temperature and pressure stabilized tank (
